Atal Park, located in Sector 8 of Karnal city in Haryana is spread over an area of 55 acres, which includes a lake spread of 4 acres as well. Kalander Shah’s Tomb is located at few kilometers from Karnal district. It was constructed by Ghias-ud-din, who was the emperor of Delhi, in the memory of a famous Muslim sage, Bo-Ali-Qualander Shah. There is also a mosque, built by Emperor Alamgir, with a fountain and reservoir at the outside premises of the tomb.
